Fence Off

The fence has been taken away. Apart from the dunny in the middle, the house is now standing by itself.

The electricity to the grid is finally connected.

The main bathroom shower screen is also complete and looking good.

The TV/Foxtel/data points installed. Upstairs family room wall point needs a cover for extra hole.

Ducted vacuum outlet, lid already broken. Surely one would carry a spare one in the van, in case one is broken!?

And finally, the Hills Hub Box. Can see phone coming in and TV splitter, but not sure about the Foxtel and LAN data termination. I'll keep you posted on this.

The security system and keypad also installed with all of the door and PIR sensors. What? you expected photos of them too? Sorry, no can do. But it is a back to base dial-up system.

Still no stairway carpets, gas meter or signs of excavation for the rainwater detention tank.

  1. Just wondering, you have the contemporary facade with no render, was that your option? Do you mind if I ask how much was the ducted vacuum system....with out the broken door.....we had our draft plan presentation on wed, things are looking good!

    1. Yes, we did not like the render look and we chose a two colours for the brick (extra $500). It was cheaper and less maintenance in the long run. We can always render if we need to in the future.

The ducted vacuum was around $1200 with 4 outlets. We do not have any carpets, so it will not be used that often, but the advantages for us, it was worth the cost. If you have carpet, highly recommended.

      Hope this helps.
