We are at Lock-up!

This morning I received progress payment invoice for lock-up stage, and surly enough visit to the site, the main doors were in and locked! So no more access to the inside.

The main front door as well as back laundry door have old used door handles, I presume "workers lock".

I also noticed an extra water tap on the right hand side of the building just popped out today, not on plan. I'm not complaining!

Now that I cannot go in, time to inspect outside work.

Looks like at quite a few places some of the mortar has come off, like the one in the picture below, that needs to be re-done later.

Gyprock plastered

Sneak peek inside, looks like they have plastered the gyprock and finished off some of the square edges.

No photos, as I cannot get into the site. Possibly this Thursday as our Site Supervisor just re-scheduled Tuesday's appointment.

Gyprock is to start today

Drove around the site yesterday afternoon, and our SS was on site, preparing site for gyprocking, as they had been delivered on Tuesday.

Hoping gyprock will start today (8/3/13), a week behind (due to some minor finishing touches of the framework), but now in progress.

The portico roof is now 90% complete.

Gyprocks delivered?

Looks like some items have been delivered, as lot of cornices have been delivered. The Site Supervisor mentioned they should have been delivered last Wednesday (27/02/13). Gyprock should have been up and finished by this week. So far, looks like delayed for a week.

Since I have no access to visit inside, cannot confirm if any more inside.

Also delivered the blue food scrap bin charged $220, that possibly would never had been delivered, had I not re-read my tender!
It shows, it is a good idea to always go over the documents.

Official warning received

I have been warned by Masterton officially, to stay off-site.

I trust this is due to the fact that I have pointed out so many minor issues and corrections, as well as things missing, like the rubbish bin.

If that's how they gonna play, then from now on any minor issues found during my official visits with the SS, I will get them to rip things apart and correct them if need be.

It's my house, my money, my way.
