Scaffolding lowered

Scaffolding is now lowered. You can just about see the house now.

Next, we should have the lower roof tiles installed, hopefully by end of the week.

Top eaves are all painted now, including the balcony roof and back of house small weatherboard section.

Meeting with SS

Had a quick meeting with SS to go over any issues (i.e. Air-Con dropper point etc) and overall was happy with the results.

Our SS was also happy for me to report any issues or items placed in the wrong place, size or colour and SMS it to him, saving lot of time.

I was hoping eaves would be painted today, but no work was being carried out. I hope they finish top floor outdoor work complete by end of this week and scaffolding coming down next week for lower level work.

Internal cabling work

All data cabling has been run through. These include TV, Foxtel, CAT6, Alarm & antenna on the roof.

We also have the ducted vacuum ducts installed and wired with 4 outlets.

Also some carpentry work for the bases of all the wash basins.

The sliding door frames are in.

The back of the house weatherboard installed. The only section of the house that is not brick.

All of the top roof eaves are now installed, including the balcony.

I hope they will be painted tomorrow, so that the scaffolding is lowered to work on the ground level roof tiles etc.

Electrical & Air-Con

The electrical wiring rough in has been done today. Lots of wires everywhere. From memory, they look all in the right places.

They missed the allocation for electrical point for the ensuite spa. I could not see any cabling.

Also installed on the same day, the Air-Con ducting and distribution unit.

Now to some issues.

You might have read in my previous posts about the air-con dropping being located in the wrong room. Well this did not get corrected, that it would have taken 15 minutes, now the air-con people have placed the ducting using the wrong dropper point!

I plan to meet our SS tomorrow and make sure all issues are resolved before they go any further.

Eave supplies delivered

The panels and other eave supplies have been delivered, ready to be installed next week, as long as we get clear skies. It has been pretty much raining this week and not much has happened on site.
